LAN~FAX helps a user to send and receive faxes on a Local Area Network (LAN). The user can send any type of fax from his/her terminal and view/print the incoming faxes on the Local Area Network (LAN) nodes.
LAN~FAX also works on a stand alone PC.
You can download a shareware copy (approx. 2MB) of LAN~FAX from the

The Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS) and the Story Tracking System works hand-in-hand. While AMSS works as the Back End, the Story Tracking System is the User Interface and acts as the Front-End. While AMSS does the Actual Receiving, Transmitting and Re-routing of Files, the Actual Creation of Files(Stories For New-agencies), Editing and Queuing these Files/Stories for Transmission is done through the Story Tracking System (STS). Administration like Linking Stations, Creating New Stations, Assigning Rights etc. are done on the AMSS server. Other things like Category, Priority, Users Configuration, Printing, Rerouting Configuration etc are done by STS.
